#1 Twellow
Twellow allow users to browse other twitters based on their interests. Twellow only allows users to put themselves into 10 categories which prevents people from stuffing themselves in every category in a sad attempt to get followers. The site itself could use a redesign, but it’s a great tool.

#2 Twitterholic

TwitterHolic shows users their rank by the number of followers they have and how they rank based on where they live. It also has a line graph showing how many followers a specific user has had in the past and how many are predicted for the user in he future.

Twitter fox is a cool Firefox addon that lets you Twitter and keep things moving.

Facebook has reached the 300 million user mark and taken more market share away from Myspace. Facebook took in more than 50 million users since July and has 70 percent of it’s user base outside of the US.

Facebook is a private company but it set to make more than 500 million in 2009. The rapid growth of Twitter and Facebook has left Myspace in the dust. The best thing about Myspace is music which doesn’t seem to retain users long enough.

Kayne West interrupts Obama

A ton of buzz surrounding Kanye West lately for disrespecting Taylor Swift at the MTV VMA awards. Kanye has been called an idiot by President Obama, Pink said Kanye didn’t have a friend in the world, and fake Kanye Twitter posts have been popping up all over the place. Kanye West does not Twitter

Twitter is expected to add a feature to it’s service Thursday morning that would allow users to make 2 minute phone calls to other users from their cell phone or pc using a service called Jajah. The service would allow users to remain anonymous and protect their real phone numbers from showing up. This could be a real winner for Twitter if the feature catches on. Jajah is a service similar to Skype.

Twitter updates it’s terms so that your Tweets now belong to you the user, however Twitter can use or modify your Tweets however they want. Facebook caused a ruckus earlier this year when it updated it’s Terms and had some vague data retention policies in place
